Orlando Pirates Make South Africa Proud

First of all, this is going to be shortest post we have ever made on this blog; nevertheless, that does not in any way keep me from commending Orlando Pirates on their gutsy performance displayed on the 1st leg of the CAF final again Al Ahly of Egypt last night.

It seemed as though Pirates were going to get slapped in their own backyard but that was not the case. A beautiful goal in the last minute of the referee's optional time by Thabo Matlaba saw Orlando Pirates leave the Orlando Stadium with their heads help up high, and that was the case as far as all South African Soccer fans are concerned.

With that being said, we would like to congratulate Orlando Pirates for making us all proud, they truly deserve to be representing us in the final.

We would also like to wish them good luck in Egypt.

Kaizer Chiefs Crowned 2012/2013 PSL Champions

Hi All,

Please, please forgive me for not having posted in such a long time, but hey; I am back to give the latest news South African Premier Soccer League. There is really not much to say as the 2012/2013 PSL season ended with Chiefs being crowned as champs for both the PSL title and Nedbank Cup.

We will see how things pan out next season as many teams are promising to come back with a bang. Sundowns is one of them...

It remains to be seen whether Kaizer Chiefs will grab this opportunity to extend their lead to 5 points when they will be hosting Wits University tonight.

With the AFCON 2013 already in full swing, Bafana Bafana will be expected to come out with nothing but a win in their upcoming encounter against Angola this afternoon. The South African soccer team showed no signs of intent in their first match against Cape Verde on the 19th Jan. 2013.
