The Latest PSL Results from Tuesday 01/05/12-Kaizer Chiefs registers victory after three succesive losses.

With only three matches left for most PSL teams, Tuesday night produced important results for the mighty Buccaneers of Orlando Pirates as they claimed victory over title contenders SuperSport United. Your Premier Soccer League results are as follows:

02/05/12 Premier Soccer League Results

Kaizer Chiefs 2 - 0 Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic 4 - 2 Ajax Cape Town, Golden Arrows 1 - 1 Wits University, Platinum Stars 4 - 1 Jomo Cosmos and Santos 0 - 1 Free State Stars

The above results saw Sundowns lose to Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday night at the FNB stadium. This has put a massive dent on Sundowns' hopes of lifting the Premier Soccer League title this season, whereas Pirates fans showed lots of love to Kaizer Chiefs on the night. Orlando Pirates are now three points clear at the top with only two matches remaining. Free State Stars are now level on points with third placed SuperSport United at 48 points. Both teams are four points behind the log leaders Orlando Pirates. I must say that I see Pirates lifting this one at the end of the season. Swallows will have a chance to move to second position on the log as they will be visiting Black Leopards on Friday 04/05/12 at 20:00.
